Following a year of working and campaigning via Zoom, the Young Person’s Advisory Board has chosen Education as their new campaign, and will spend the next year focusing on improving the educational experience of deaf young people.

Over the next few months, they will research and plan out the next steps of their campaign.  The National Deaf Children’s Society will support them by scoping out opportunities for them to all meet face-to-face meeting for the very first time.

For the last few years, the current and past YAB’s have been supporting the development of the National Deaf Children’s Society’s Buzz Website.  This is a website for deaf young people and is packed with great content and a safe space where deaf young people can log in and ask questions, poll other deaf young people, and vote on content.  The Buzz launched last month and will be such a huge support for deaf young people around the UK.
